CENTRAL VETERINARY SOCIETY

Fellowship of the Central Veterinary Society is open to all Members and Fellows of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. It is not necessary to live or work in the Greater London or Surrey areas. Colleagues wishing to join the Society must be proposed and seconded by existing Fellows, and pay an annual subscription of £30 (£10 for Retired Fellows). Application forms and standing order forms to facilitate payment are available from the Hon. Secretary, who will also be able to arrange for a proposer and seconder for colleagues who are not acquainted with a current CVS Fellow. (Application form may also be printed out from here.) On receipt of a completed application form and payment (or properly completed standing order form), the Hon. Secretary will bring the application before the next meeting of Council.
Any colleague who would like to attend a meeting as a guest before making a formal application for Fellowship will be most welcome, and again this can be arranged by contacting the Hon. Secretary.
The Society also accepts Associate Fellows, who are "those considered by Council to be suitably qualified persons having an interest in veterinary science who are not veterinary surgeons". Application procedure is the same as for full Fellows.
